Small Victories Thanks to Great Support

By Viktoriia Cherednychenko | President of the Charitable Foundation KYIAN

Dear GlobalGiving Team,

With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to share the outcomes of treatment for four of our young beneficiaries who, thanks to your support, have received a chance for a better future.

  1. Milana - a miracle made possible.
Just a year ago, this little girl could barely hold her head and sit up. It was hard to imagine that she would ever be able to stand. After a complex surgery and intensive rehabilitation, Milana is now on her feet. She is taking her first steps! Her parents couldn't hold back their tears, thanking you for the opportunity to receive treatment. This is not just medical help - it's a new life for this child.

  2. Serhii - first steps toward independence.
Before rehabilitation, Serhii could only sit on his mother's lap. No support, no movement. But after intensive procedures, daily physical therapy, and a lot of hope - he is standing. And already slowly trying to walk. These changes once seemed impossible, but your support made them real.

Two other children, whose names we cannot disclose for ethical reasons, have also shown encouraging progress:

  • One child, after a course of sensory therapy, began reacting to speech and touch for the first time.

  • Another started moving freely with support and interacting with other children for the first time in a long while.

Each such change means the world to a family.

Thanks to you, we see eyes filled with hope, hands reaching out to life, and little feet making their first trembling - but very real - steps.

On behalf of the parents, children, and our entire team, we sincerely thank you.
You are part of a great story of small heroes.

With respect and gratitude,
The Kyian Foundation Team
