To rescue 100 Ukrainian children with disabilities

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for your generosity and support! Thanks to your help, our children were able to undergo rehabilitation courses that have truly been a lifesaver for their health. Your support not only helped improve their physical condition but also gave them new opportunities for development and joy in their lives.

Thanks to you, they have made significant progress: their physical activity has increased, muscle spasms have decreased, coordination has improved, and new skills have emerged that were previously out of reach. Every success these children achieve is also your victory, and we are deeply grateful that you have become part of this process.

Here is the story of one boy: Denys went through a rehabilitation course, which brought our family one step closer to our most cherished dream — teaching Denys to walk independently.

"Denys has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, specifically spastic diplegia and bilateral sensorineural hearing loss (4-5 degree), deafness. During rehabilitation, Denys underwent physical therapy, sensory integration, speech therapy, psychological sessions, and worked with an osteopath. Throughout the rehabilitation period, our son achieved an incredible milestone — he took his first independent, long-awaited steps! He made these steps in special shoes — orthoses, but with no support at all. When we saw those first 'three' steps, we couldn’t hold back our tears of joy. These steps came with pain and tears, but they mark the beginning of a bright future, as our son dreams of running with other children at the playground.

Additionally, Denys' balance and fine motor skills have improved. He has become calmer, more communicative (expanding his vocabulary), and can now combine up to 10 words in a sentence. He is now able to stand independently for up to 5 minutes.

Once again, we sincerely thank everyone who helped Serhiy complete another rehabilitation course during such a difficult time for the entire country and who helps special children fulfill their dreams."
