By Eric Wheel | Project Leader
To our loyal supporters we say “Tucheje, or Thank you!” for your continued support. With the rules and regulations which allow this type of development work going through major changes, we need to suspend fund-raising for the Water Project while we determine how to meet the requirements in order to continue this important work. The Water Project has benefited our eastern Tibetan villagers greatly, and they have asked us to convey their deep gratitude to all of you who have donated so generously and loyally over the last six years. Through your kind donations you have enabled them to change their lives in the most fundamental way possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at our email for the Tibet Humanitarian Project, thp@yahoo.com.
This is the end of just one chapter in the arc of this project. We have succeeded in bringing water down the mountain to the Village. There remain several other goals yet to be accomplished, including improving the water distribution system and expanding it to outlying villages and hamlets. It is the hope of the Tibet Humanitarian Project that we will be able to address these needs at some future time with appropriate government approval. We hope to reach out to you again for your continued support in the near future.
Thank you again for your aid and support.
