Dear GlobalGiving Community,
Access to menstrual health care is often overlooked during humanitarian crises, yet it is vital to preserving dignity, health, and overall well-being. Thanks to your continued support, we reached thousands of women, girls, and people with periods in some of the world’s most challenging environments. Your generosity ensured that menstrual health remains a priority in emergency response efforts.
From September 2024 through July 2025, Days for Girls has reached 62,991 refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and individuals affected by disasters and emergencies.
This includes:
In 2024 (September–December), we reached 57,867 individuals, including through projects in:
In 2025 so far (January–July), we’ve reached an additional 5,124 individuals affected by crises.
These numbers represent more than distributions. They reflect lives touched, self worth restored, and hope shared in times of upheaval.
We are proud to continue our work in Burundi, Jordan, Lebanon, and Ukraine, while also expanding efforts to support displaced populations in Cambodia and Uganda. Through our global network and dedicated Social Enterprise teams, some of whom are part of the refugee communities themselves, we are actively delivering washable menstrual kits and vital health education to those who need it most.
As crises persist across the globe, from ongoing displacement in Lebanon to conflict in Gaza and economic instability in multiple regions, the need for menstrual health solutions remains urgent. Every DfG Kit distributed provides not only practical supplies, but also comfort and resilience.
We could not do this without you. Your continued support makes it possible for us to respond quickly and compassionately, even in the most difficult circumstances.
On behalf of the entire Days for Girls team, thank you for standing with us and with the women and girls we serve. Your partnership is a lifeline, and a powerful statement that menstrual health matters, no matter the situation.
With deep gratitude,
The Days for Girls Team
