They Lost Everything: You Can Restore Hope
When the Water Took Everything, Hope Became Their Last Refuge
The rain came heavily.
For families already struggling to survive on very little, the monsoon floods brought devastation within hours. Homes were damaged or swept away. Food supplies were destroyed. Drinking water became contaminated. Families who were already living in poverty suddenly found themselves with nowhere safe to sleep and nothing to eat.
For some, everything they had worked for disappeared beneath the floodwaters.
A home.
Important belongings.
A sense of security.
And for many families, the fear of what would happen next.
But the floodwaters did not take away their right to hope.
Families Who Had Almost Nothing Now Have Nothing
Flood disasters affect everyone, but they hit poor communities hardest.
Daily-wage workers may lose their only source of income. Women and children can be left particularly vulnerable. Families who were already struggling to afford food may suddenly need emergency assistance simply to survive.
When clean drinking water is unavailable, the danger of disease increases.
When homes are destroyed, families may be forced to sleep in unsafe conditions.
When food is lost, hunger quickly becomes a reality.
And when children are displaced, their education can be interrupted.
This is why emergency support cannot wait.
Bringing Help Where It Is Needed Most
Through this project, Moses Welfare Foundation is working to provide emergency assistance to families affected by devastating monsoon floods.
Our response focuses on essential needs, including:
Our local teams work directly with affected communities to identify families facing the greatest needs and deliver assistance as quickly and responsibly as possible.
A Food Package Is More Than Food
For a family that has lost everything, a food package is not simply a collection of basic supplies.
It means a mother does not have to wonder how she will feed her children tonight.
It means children can eat when there is nothing left in the home.
It means a family can breathe for a moment without the fear of hunger.
A small act of generosity can become a lifeline.
Clean Water Can Save a Life
Floodwater can contaminate drinking-water sources and create serious health risks.
Providing clean drinking water and hygiene supplies is therefore an essential part of our emergency response.
A bottle of safe water may seem small.
But for a family surrounded by contaminated floodwater, clean water can mean protection, dignity, and survival.
They Need More Than Relief; They Need Dignity
When people lose their homes and possessions, they can also lose their sense of security and dignity.
Our goal is not simply to distribute supplies.
We want affected families to know that they have not been forgotten.
When we arrive with food, water, hygiene supplies, and shelter assistance, we are saying:
“You are not alone. Your life matters. Your family matters. We will stand with you.”
Thank You to Our First 10 Donors
We are deeply grateful to the 10 generous donors who have already responded to this emergency.
Together, they have contributed:
$867
toward our $150,000 project goal.
Their generosity has already become part of our flood-response effort.
But the need remains enormous.
$149,133 is still needed.
Behind this number are real families waiting for assistance.
Real children who need food.
Real mothers who need clean water.
Real families who need shelter.
The Need Is Bigger Than One Family
Our goal is to raise $150,000 over one year so that Moses Welfare Foundation can continue responding to flood-affected communities and help vulnerable families not only during the immediate emergency but throughout their recovery.
We want to prioritize those who are most vulnerable, including:
From Emergency Relief to Recovery
Flood relief should not end when the water goes down.
Families need time and support to rebuild their lives.
That is why this project also focuses on longer-term resilience through hygiene awareness, disease prevention, emergency preparedness, and recovery support.
We hope to help families move through three important stages:
Survive → Recover → Rebuild
We want children to return to school.
We want families to regain stability.
We want communities to become better prepared for future disasters.
And most importantly, we want people who have lost everything to regain their dignity and hope.
Every Donation Becomes a Lifeline
You may never meet the family your donation helps.
You may never know the name of the child who receives food.
You may never see the home that your support helps a family recover from.
But your generosity can still make a difference.
$25 can help provide essential supplies.
$50 can help a family facing immediate hardship.
$100 can become meaningful emergency assistance for vulnerable families.
Every contribution brings us closer to reaching families who desperately need help.
They Lost Everything. Help Us Restore Hope.
The flood may have destroyed their homes.
It may have taken their belongings.
It may have interrupted their children's education.
It may have taken away their income.
But we can help them rebuild their hope.
The first 10 donors have already said yes.
Now we are asking others to stand with them.
Project Goal: $150,000
Raised So Far: $867
Donors: 10
Remaining Need: $149,133
Project Duration: 1 year
Monthly Donors: 0
Every donation is a lifeline.
Every gift is a message that they are not forgotten.
Every act of kindness can help a family rise again.
Together, We Can Help Them Rise Again
The water will eventually disappear.
The sun will return.
But rebuilding a life takes time.
Let us stand with families today so they can face tomorrow with hope.
They lost everything.
You can help restore hope.
