Dear Donors
At the outset I take this opportunity to thank you once again for backing up our efforts with your generous donation.
Your contribution will go a long way in creating a long term, sustainable and impactful program in Rural India.
Through this initiative we aspire to reach out to local communities in Rural India, create awareness about positive impact on sports for kids with disabilities.
The funds generated on Global Giving Platform for this project were disbursed to us in the first week of Aug 2019.
As a first step of the program we have identified one Rural village by name Heggadadevana Kote, which a taluk in the district of Mysore of which State is Karnataka.
We have identified a local NGO that runs a school for kids in the village. The management of this school has expressed interest to collaborate in the project. The initial discussions are on. The idea is to use the land available in the NGO school and build one tennis court.
This village does not have tennis court.
First site visit to assess the ground realities and to discuss the structure and terms of engagement with this NGO is scheduled on 22nd September.
We will send you next update on the further developments in the project by 25th September 2019.
