In December 2024, The SOL Foundation launched a tree-planting initiative in Mombasa, Kenya, with the ambitious goal of planting 1,000 trees to promote environmental sustainability and community development.l, as a Holiday/Christmas event.
In partnership with a local organization, we successfully mobilized 100 volunteers to plant 1,000 trees in a single day. The event was a resounding success, with participants from diverse backgrounds, including international tourists from Europe, Russia, and the USA.
What made this event truly remarkable was the enthusiasm and sense of purpose displayed by each participant. They recognized the critical importance of combating climate change and were eager to contribute positively.
This initiative not only fostered community engagement and environmental stewardship but also provided a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and social responsibility. The SOL Foundation is proud to have facilitated this meaningful experience, which embodied the spirit of giving back to the community.
