Lived Experience Leadership Project Continued
The Lived Experience Leadership project is experiencing amazing growth. This week, we are co-hosting the National Lived Experience Leadership Conference in San Jose, California, in partnership with Destination: Home.
This year, we will have nearly 500 people in attendance and have provided over 300 scholarships to participants across the country. The entire process is led by people with lived experience.
NCH is partnering with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Georgetown Hoyalytics, among others, as we work to create additional opportunities for genuine engagement of people with lived experience. The conference has also helped incubate the formation of lived experience groups across the nation, with new groups forming in California, Ohio, New Jersey, Washington State, and Washington, D.C., after attending the NLELC Conference.
Our ultimate goal remains clear: this work is more than a conference—it is the building blocks of a movement.
