Heal One World’s Maui Resilience Project continues to grow in service to the West Maui community by expanding accessible wellness programming focused on healing, connection, and resilience. As part of this ongoing effort, we are excited to announce the addition of weekly Tai Chi classes offered in partnership with Hui No Ke Ola Pono – An Association to Strengthen and Perpetuate Life. These new classes are being held at their new Lahaina location at Ka Lai Ola, creating another supportive space for residents to gather, restore, and strengthen both body and mind through mindful movement practices.
Our weekly yoga and meditation classes on the Westside of Maui also continue to serve community members seeking grounding, stress relief, and emotional support. These consistent in-person offerings remain an important part of the Maui Resilience Project’s mission to provide accessible healing opportunities for individuals and families navigating ongoing recovery and rebuilding efforts. Through gentle movement, breath awareness, and mindfulness practices, participants are able to reconnect with themselves and with one another in a compassionate community environment.
In addition to our in-person programming, we continue to encourage participation in Heal One World’s free online wellness offerings, which are available to support community members wherever they are. Online classes currently include breathwork, meditation, restorative practices, and other healing modalities designed to promote resilience and well-being. By combining in-person and virtual opportunities, the Maui Resilience Project remains committed to making holistic wellness accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the evolving needs of the Maui community.
