It has now been over two years since the devastating fires that destroyed Lahaina town and affected the island of Maui. We have been able to continue offering mindfulness classes and yoga locally on the west side of Maui 2 to 3 times a week. We have a weekly tai chi class which is hosted in Napili Bay.
We have had volunteers that have offered craniosacral and Reiki treatments for those in need. The main goal has been making sure people are aware of the options there are for self care and that the community is still there for each other so the feelings of loss can be spoken about and not bottled up.
This holiday season we were helping support other organizations by providing yoga and tai chi classes as needed, including at some houses of worship.
We are very grateful for all of our volunteers and all the participants that are helping keep Maui, Resilient.
