Maui Resilience Project continues to serve the community with TaiChi Classes at Pohoku Park. We are actively searching for an indoor location to continue holding classes. Meditation is being well received at Honokawai Park and Kapalua. We have weekly yoga as well at Napili Park.
Although it has been well over a year since the wildfires, residents are still affected daily and having these resources are very valuable. The online classes offer a way for individuals not not have to travel from their homes and become familiarized with the amazing benefits of mindfulness practices.
Benefits reported by regular attendees include reduced stress, better sleep, feeling more rested, anger management and more joy!
