New Video added to the project

By Alan Silva | Project contributor

In today's progress report, we want to go over some of the steps we will take in order to help these schools once we have the funding.  The first thing we will do when we start the project with these schools is to do an evaluation of the current deficiencies. Helping to end hunger and malnutrition is not about simply providing more food. The key is to provide the right food. We first analyze what the children’s eating patterns are. What they eat on a daily basis and the nutritional value of that food. Once we have that information, we will design a plan that addresses the deficiencies we find in their diet. Having the right information is critical to making a sustainable and lasting difference.

In our next progress report, we will talk about our bio-intensive gardening method that we implement in the schools in order to help meet their nutritional needs.

We have also added a new video to help donors see the type of children we aim to help. The children in these videos are from schools we work with now or have worked with in the past. We work with several schools around the country of Ecuador and have already had tremendous success with projects similar to this one. We want to show our donors that we are accountable for the trust you put in us. We will use your support to provide a lasting benefit to this school and the families that attend. Please go to our website to get more information about how we help not only these wonderful children, but families around the world.
