Project Report & Action Plan

Project Title

Emergency Humanitarian Assistance for Vulnerable Families in the Democratic Republic of Congo

1. Executive Summary

The Democratic Republic of Congo continues to face severe humanitarian crises caused by armed conflict, floods, displacement, food insecurity, disease outbreaks, and poverty. Thousands of families, especially women and children, are living in dangerous conditions without adequate food, clean water, shelter, healthcare, or protection.

Save life make difference launched this emergency aid project to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities affected by crisis and displacement in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The project aims to save lives, reduce suffering, and restore dignity by delivering emergency food supplies, clean drinking water, temporary shelter materials, hygiene kits, medical support, and psychosocial assistance.

With a fundraising goal of $25,000, the project has already raised $2,976 through the generosity of 50 donors, leaving $22,024 still needed to reach the target and support more affected families.

2. Background and Problem Statement

The humanitarian situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo remains critical. Armed violence, climate-related disasters, epidemics, and extreme poverty continue to displace thousands of families every year.

Affected communities face:

Lack of food and clean water

Malnutrition among children

Spread of diseases such as cholera and malaria

Destruction of homes and community infrastructure

Limited access to healthcare

Trauma and psychological distress

Poor sanitation and hygiene conditions

Children, pregnant women, elderly people, and persons with disabilities are among the most vulnerable populations affected by the crisis.

Without urgent intervention, many families remain exposed to hunger, disease, violence, and preventable deaths.
