The FIGS Club update

Dear Supporter,

We want to again sincerely thank all of our donors, big and small, for your contributions. The FIGS Club has already touched the lives of many children in Wanang Conservation School and we are now discussing how to scale up the program.

We would like to take a moment to thank all of the teachers at Wanang Conservation School for their hard work and commitment. In particular we want to thank Mrs Moka, Head Teacher, who has worked closely with us and given excellent feedback on our project. Our goal over the next quarter is to produce education materials that are accessible to all Wanang School students, and to provide the teachers there with environmental education training. Mrs Moka supports adding environmental education to the curriculum, this is a huge win for the FIGS Club, and none of this would have happened without your support.

We hope this is the first of many local schools to see the value of environmental and science education. Who knows, this might even be the start of a regional or national change.

From little acorns mighty oaks grow.
