We're thrilled to update you on the progress of The FIGS Club. Your continued support has been incredible, and we're excited to announce that we are now 73% towards our fundraising goal!
Since our last report, there have been significant developments. Building on the groundwork laid during our team's visit to the Wanang Community and Conservation School, we have made substantial strides in planning and preparation. Essential equipment and supplies have been funded thanks to you, and we have piloted some teaching methods on insects and birds to see which approach the kids most enjoyed.
There is a lot of excitement among students in Wanang, and the demand for places in the program has exceeded our expectations. This has inspired us to broaden our fundraising efforts. We are currently in discussions with several local foundations and businesses who, like you, recognize the value and potential impact of this initiative.
Looking ahead, we remain on track to complete our fundraising on GlobalGiving by Q1 2024, or even earlier as we launch a Christmas fundrasing drive. The implementation of The FIGS Club is poised to be a transformative experience for the children of Wanang Conservation School, promising to foster a deep understanding and appreciation for conservation and science.
