The holiday season has come and gone, but the community of Batey Caraballo is already full steam into 2015. The Montessori Preschool has welcomed our 80 young learners back and our community based teachers are implementing their new training to create an even better learning environment. This February 1st, Millwoods, our sponsor school and Caraballo heroes, will come and visit the school they have been instrumental in supporting. In addition to the preschool, our Public Library and At Risk youth Center is buzzing, full of young learners and our new "Culture of Reading".
As we all fall back into our routines, please consider a special gift to cover all our costs for the 2015 school year. All proceeds go to this amazing program and the public library. The keys to moving this community out of poverty are education and opportunity, so please take a moment today to lend a hand!
