It is easy to get caught up in our day to day and easy to forget about the little things...
Well, this is a quick report to let you know those 95 little things you helped support this past holiday have been learning, growing and building a positive future, all because of you.
Our Montessori Preschool and adjoining Public Library/At Risk Youth Program (Young Stars) has flourished in 2014, reaching even more youth and offering a new resource to their family and community. Our friends from Millwoods in Edmonton came for a service project in January, once again contributing much needed supplies, infrastructure and a lot of love! DREAM now works with more than 4,000 youth, but few live at the level of extreme poverty and in the conditions that these youth do. There are many short term solutions, but the sustainable one is to educate these children, empower them, offer them resources and inspiration, then allow them to pull themselves out of extreme poverty.
Thank you so much for caring about the little things, in the end, there is no better investment and 100%, as always, goes straight to programs, so there are no issues with how and where your generosity goes.
