Why Early Intervention?

At the end of 2016, at the initiative of the parents, whose children attend CF “Early Intervention Institute”, a focus-group was formed.  The parents, who had had the experience of receiving the Early Intervention service, were sharing their personal opinions on Early Intervention, its effectiveness and benefit for little kids.

«We, parents, have our own experience.  The first thought, when you find out about the problems is: we will try and do our best, my child will be ok! The next one is: how do I do it? Rehabilitation centers, hospitals, medical treatment…

And all of a sudden you realize: we can't spend our whole life in a hospital or rehabilitation center.  My baby with special needs has the right for a «regular life»!  Family is our kids' main resource.

For us, parents, Early Intervention is tangible practical support for the family and the child at the hardest moments. We have the right to say so and we want to be heard:

- Early Intervention is not just some classes. Here I learn how to develop my child in everyday routine – at home, at the playground.  This changes my life.

- Early Intervention does not refuse assistance because the child is too young or the diagnosis is too severe.

- Early Intervention teaches to understand the child.  For me it's the most important thing – I learned to understand  my kid.  Now that he pronounces words, others can understand him, too – children at kindergarten, for instance.

With the help of Early Intervention, parents reach a lot in helping their children develop, make realistic plans, reach the goals set, see their children’s success, help them cope with difficulties.

Every child has a future.  Early Intervention works to make this future as reliable, active and interesting as possible

The task of Early Intervention is to give a good start!»
