Our project started in April 2013. Funds which were collected during this period we put in to the support of the organization of Early Intervention Center in Kharkiv region (Chuguev town). We have bought some special equipment and delivered trainings for early intervention teams (psychologist, speech therapist, physical therapist and doctor). Specialists are trained to diagnose, how to organize an early intervention program, how to deal with the daily routine of children with special needs.
Now the town in Kharkiv region with population about 30 000 people has Early Intervention Center for early age children with disability and their familys.
22 families with children with special physical and mental development has appealed to the Centre. Children with Down syndrom, autism, cerebral palsy and other problems have professional help and their parents - support.
