Hotline

In 2015, we received 4488 calls on our toll free nationwide sex trafficking hotline and 6482 online educational services and extensive case management through our wow program.

There were 3522 young women, 665 young men and 160 transgender and 141 gender unknown who called our hotline. Of those callers 21 were rescued directly from a pimp/trafficker, 946 received intervention in a crisis and 231 were referred to other shelters because of their age or location.

Shelter Home

Children of the Night is the only place in North America where a parent may send their child for recovery from sex trafficking/prostitution and not have to relinquish his/her parental rights.

In 2015, 78% of the children referred to the Children of the Night were referred by a parent or other family member. Only 22% were referred by probation or social services.

In 2015, our shelter home received 59 children (ages 11 -17) who have been sex trafficked right here in the United States.

Of the 70 children who received comprehensive residential care in 2014, only 11% were in jail or on the streets when the follow up study was conducted in September of 2015.

This year only girls sought admission to our home and 61% of those girls were 16 years old or younger.

Only 6 (10%) returned to the streets.
