Agnes is a student who successfully finished the sewing course of Caritas Centre. She says:
" Well, first of all I would like to thank Caritas Centre for accepting me in the sewing course.
The course was three-months. The first time the course began I was afraid and ashamed of my new friends because of my condition (I am disabled). But over time I adjusted to them and they also understood my circumstances.
I am very excited to join them and get to know them one by one as well as the Caritas Centre tutors. I also enjoyed learning about why the Caritas Centre was established.
During the course I was introduced to the tools required in sewing, as well as and making templates and so on. As well as learning to sew we were also taught other skills such as making flannel flowers, which could be auctioned for social activities.
I was very proud to be able to be accepted to one of the programs at the Caritas Centre. Not only did learning sewing, but how to help and share with others in need. Before attending our social activities I was very surprised because I thought that I was attending the Caritas Centre just to learn to sew.
Once again thanks to Caritas Centre because through this course I got new knowledge / skills. These include that is making patterns, sewing blouse, skirt, shirt, kebaya and camisoles.
Thank you
Ya'ahowu! "
This was possible thanks to your generous donation, we really appreciate your contribution.
Thank you very much,
Eleonora and Mariangela
