Severe drought continues to make life miserable at Tharparkar. The numbers of malnourished children are increasing all the times. According to the latest report, 2 infants passed away on Friday, increasing the death toll to 49 in the past 38 days. 432 children have passed away on the last 11 months in District Tharparkar due to malnutrition and lack of health facilities. After the increasing deaths of children now mothers started suicide due to depressed situation.
With your support Fast Rural Development Program distributed food basket in 10 drought affected households, the basket was contained below item:
1. Wheat flour 20 Kg
2. Rice 5 KG
3. Lentils 5 KG
4. Cooking Oil 5 Liters
5. Drink (Sharbat)
6. Tea and Sugar
