COVID-19 is currently all over the news and affecting everyone across North Carolina and around the country. As we all social distance and try to stay home as much as possible, there continue to be hundreds of low-income Hurricane Florence survivors in the state who are still struggling to recover. They continue to live in damaged or temporary housing during this very difficult time.
As the result of a recent grant from GlobalGiving to provide recovery assistance to Hurricane Florence survivors, LSC has been able to serve 33 additional survivor households, comprised of 67 adults and children since March 2020.
