Following two consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 impacting Caracas and the central coast of Venezuela , thousands of families are left in extreme vulnerability due to infrastructure collapse. TECHO International and TECHO Venezuela have activated their emergency response protocol. This project aims to fund Phase 1 of our deployment , conducting technical mapping on the ground and delivering immediate shelter solutions, emergency support, and community reconstruction.
On Wednesday, June 24, Venezuela was struck by two consecutive high-magnitude earthquakes (7.2 and 7.5) , with epicenters severely affecting Caracas and the central coast. The impact has been devastating: widespread infrastructure collapse, hundreds of injuries, and thousands of displaced families left in extreme vulnerability. In an area already facing complex socio-economic challenges, this disaster deprives families of basic safety and shelter.
TECHO addresses this crisis through a data-driven, phased recovery plan. First, our teams deployment on the ground conducts technical mapping to identify the hardest-hit communities and assess exact structural damage. Second, we mobilize our local volunteer network for rapid logistical support. Finally, 100% of the flexible funds are converted into immediate response, modular emergency housing, and tailored reconstruction strategies to return safety and stability to families.
100% of the funds raised through this campaign will be allocated exclusively to emergency support, transitional shelter solutions, and community reconstruction. By participating in this Phase 1 response, your contribution ensures that rebuilding efforts are not random, but tailored exactly to real infrastructure gaps. TECHO stays with the communities from the initial emergency through the path toward safe recovery.
