Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Donors,
Your donations will empower individuals and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving them the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. This will create a generation of leaders given the platform to encourage progress that starts at the local level but impacts many more. Contributions from donors support public health initiatives and create educational campaigns within the local community. The program provides individuals with critical knowledge for the prevention, treatment, and eradication of the most threatening public health issues in sub-Saharan Africa.
Our students work with local NGOs and hospitals in Nigeria to assess and monitor the current public health situation, then design educational campaigns to educate individuals in the community on prevention, risk, and treatment options. Currently, this project will help raise awareness and create community programs to fight the lack of Sexual and Reproductive Health in Bauchi.
Palo Verde High School interns have been working with LI Project Coordinator Rashida to assess Sexual and Reproductive Health in the area. Currently, Team 1091 is completing basic research about the direst needs in this topic area. Your encouragement of Palo Verde interns and their project will truly help change lives across the globe, as fighting public health issues at a grassroots level sparks change across all socioeconomic facets of the community.
