Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Donors,
Your donations will empower individuals and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving them the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. Contributions from you support public health initiatives and create educational campaigns within the communities. The program provides knowledge for prevention, treatment, and eradication of very serious public health issues.
Our students are working with Nigerian government officials and hospitals to assess the current public health situation, then design educational campaigns for prevention, risk, and treatment. Currently, this project will help raise awareness and create community programs to fight Maternal Health Issues in Bauchi.
Team 1084 interns have been working with Li Project Coordinator Rashida to assess Maternal Health in the area. Currently, Team 1084 is completing surveys for women about their healthcare and motherhood experience in general. Your encouragement of Team 1084 interns and their project will truly help change lives across the globe, as fighting public health at a grassroots level sparks change across all socioeconomic facets of the community.
As a supporter of this project, Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our program, learn of ways you can participate, or have new ideas on how this team could best help work on their public health issue. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments! Your hard work and support is the greatest gift we could receive as we attempt to create a better world.
Thank you once again from the bottom of everyone’s heart at Leadership Initiatives. If you would ever like to speak to our staff in Nigeria or this specific project leader we would love to communicate with you so you can personally see the change you are creating.
Wishing you, your family, and friends the absolute best!
Sincerely,
The Mercy High School IIP Team
