Auburn High School Students Transforming Lives

Dear Amazing Leadership Initiative Donors,

Your generous donations are being used to spread awareness of public health issues in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Your donations will fund a new generation of leaders to empower and promote community and health across the globe. Contributions from donors are used to support public health initiatives and educational campaigns in local communities like Bauchi. The program provides individuals with knowledge to prevent, treat, and eradicate the most threatening public health issues in sub-Saharan Africa.

Our student teams work alongside NGOs and hospitals to assess and monitor the public health situation and create efficient public health campaigns to spread awareness of the most prominent issues. These educational campaigns to educate individuals in the community on prevention, risk, and treatment options. Currently, this project will help raise awareness and create community programs to improve infant care in Bauchi.

Team 1076 interns have been working with LI Project Coordinator Marshall to assess infant care in the area. Currently, team 1076 is completing public health research specific to infant care. Your encouragement of team 1076 interns and their project will truly help change lives across the globe, as fighting public health issues at a grassroots level sparks change across all socioeconomic facets of the community.

As a generous supporter of this campaign, Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate, or have new ideas on how this team could best help work on their public health issue. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments! Your hard work and support are the greatest gifts we could receive as we work to create a better world.

Thank you once again from the bottom of everyone's heart here at Leadership Initiatives. If you would ever like to speak to our staff in Nigeria or this specific project leader, we would love to communicate with you so you can personally see the change you are creating.

Wishing you, your family, and your friends the absolute best!

Sincerely,

The Auburn High School IIP Team
