Dear Donors of IIP 1017,
Above all, thank you so much for donating. These donations are able to open up opportunities for individuals and organizations in Bauchi State, Nigeria. The donations have helped LI create awareness and support our mission of helping those who are victims of human right abusers.
For a few weeks we have been writing and finishing a draft of a research we have been doing to gain further information about our problem, Domestic Violence. Team 1017 has had multiple calls with Auwal, the Project Coordinator, to gather and confirm information about violations of Domestic Violence in Bauchi State.
After the research, Team #1017 has continued with writing a letter to the NHRC(the National Human Rights Council of Nigeria). The team has also been researching organizations fighting domestic violence in other countries.
