A great day to all of you, GlobalGivers! Ber-months has just started, but you can almost hear the christmas bells ringing here in the Philippines. Hope you can feel the joyous atmosphere in the air from anywhere you are, too!
I have an amazing news to all of you! With our collective efforts and your support, our organization (NATCCO) and our partner local cooperative partners have increased the reach of the number of children we have financially and socially empowered.
From Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, we have conducted launching in numerous schools and met hundreds of schoolchildren who are more than eager to save and invest for their future. These thought excites us, the NATCCO Children and Youth team more than anything, for the bright future ahead.
Ofcourse, to be able to efficiently deliver our message across all regions in the Philippines, we have asked for the support of the Department of Education in different division and district. And we have also continued to train the teachers and somehow encourage them to take charge of their own financial lives, as we believe that they are our crucial link to the children and are working as their role models, as well.
