Zambales City - In the spirit of Filipino independence, Mother Rita MPC (MORIMC) followed the celebration of Philippine Independence Day with a timely Aflatoun expansion in their vigorous campaign for social and financial freedom.
Rodante Aque, MORIMC branch manager and NATCCO Youth Committee member, helped organize the training with the objective to reinforce their current implementation of Aflatoun in their area. Two schools were added to the roster of MORIMC’s partner schools for the program; these are Precious Child Montessori Zambales Main and Annex. The one-day teachers’ training focused on strengthening the integration of Aflatoun values into the lessons, ways to better inculcate the value of saving among students, and encourage more teachers and parents to support the program.
The Aflatoun Teachers’ Training agenda consisted of seven (7) sessions scheduled throughout two consecutive days. Sessions included in-depth discussion of the five core elements, mock lessons, workbook readings, and action planning. Teachers were given the Aflatoun Program Implementing Guidelines along with other paraphernalia for the curriculum integration.
The Aflatoun Program renders great service to Cooperatives who are fully committed to develop practical and responsible children as future actors of the economy. MORIMC’s dedication reflects on the continuing growth and success of its programs for the youth.
