NATCCO Leadership Training 2022

For more than two years, we were limited to seeing our youth cooperators in a virtual space. Finally, last November 5, 51 youth leaders met in the Queen City of the South, Cebu, with excitement and enthusiastic smiles. We only felt more connected and refreshed to hear our speakers' topics centered on the theme, "Leading from Your Strength Towards a Responsive and Adaptive Leadership."

The first day embarked with Mr. Earl Thomas Corregidor III of JCI Mandaue on a refreshing topic to help the youth understand leading with and from their strength. This heightened their awareness of overcoming their weaknesses and channeling their growth mindset. Highly interactive activities were set to engage and warm up the participants' ideas of their personalities. The speaker also emphasized the traits of active followers - a solid value to reach the leadership
potential of today's generation.

With a refreshed mindset, the following day focuses on leading with passion and action, presented by Mr. Rodolfo Villanueva. These topics highlighted a reflective discussion on finding their "why" (purpose) and identifying the "how" (action), so they can determine their roles as co-op leaders.

Finally, the training also challenged our youth cooperators to formulate a project plan that they can contribute to their respective cooperatives.
