As a growing and continuously expanding program, Aflatoun’s strength is largely attributed to the passion, creativity, dedication, and competence of the people working for and behind the program. Over the years, we have witnessed the inspiring success of the cooperative partners across the country because of the Cooperative leaders and Aflatoun Coordinators who made it happen, with the support of the internal and external stakeholders. And in this ever changing world, we see the need to continuously create, improve, and innovate.
Just this year, NATCCO Network have successfully conducted the Capacity Building Training Program for Aflatoun Coordinators and Advocates held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on January 22-28. This 6-day training program featured knowledgeable speakers who excelled in topics about leadership, creative thinking, and emotional intelligence, among many others – in line with the 21st century required skills and global competitiveness. It was wonderfully-made possible with the assistance of Make It Right Movement, Brickfields Asia College’s corporate social responsibility initiative.
The Capacity-Building Training Program for Aflatoun Coordinators gave a renewed commitment and fresh perspectives for partners to keep sustaining the program’s growing edge and to be equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and motivation. It was attended by a total of 36 participants – 30 participants from the Philippines, 3 participants from ChildFund Indonesia, 2 participants from Xac Bank Mongolia, and 1 from Children International India.
We hope that in our future activities, you can join us too, Global Givers!
