The beauty of being part of a global network is the opportunity to learn and get inspiration from the practices and experiences of other partners. National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) is honored to host the Learning Visit of ChildFund Indonesia in the Philippines last December 4-5, 2018. The Learning Visit provided a practical and meaningful observation on how NATCCO, the partner cooperative, and schools work harmoniously in providing social and financial education to children and youth.
Our gratefulness go to Most Holy Rosary Multi-Purpose Cooperative for doing a splendid job of exposing the ChildFund Team to hands on and practical learnings in the program implementation. We could not be more grateful also to Eulogio Rodriguez Elementary School for the warmest welcome and Kasiglahan Village Elementary School for showing us the program integration in class as well as the savings activity. It is truly inspiring to see young people being frugal and prudent. Thank you very much to the Department of Education in the Division of Rizal for your support in the Aflatoun program in Rodriguez, Rizal.
The ChildFund Team Indonesia will go home with hearts and minds full of inspiration and joy—knowing that the same commendable implementation can very well be adopted and implemented in their own country. Again, thank you very much for visiting!
Till next update, keep saving!
