Antipolo, Rizal, PH—Last April 21-22, 2018, in partnership with Happy Homes Housing Cooperative and DepEd Antipolo, we have gathered and shared the Aflatoun program and concepts to selected teachers of San Isidro Elementary School and Antipolo City SPED Center. Even if the vacation have just started, these noble teachers took on the challenge of empowering 21st learners about their rights, savings and entrepreneurship and attended the training over the weekend.
Just a little fact: There were some Assistant Teachers who attended this activity and they made it more awesome, inclusive, and inspiring! These assistant teachers may have disabilities but their passion to teach children proved that disabilities doesn't have the power to stop you on what you want to do and what you want to be.
Again, our heartfelt congratulations to the newest Aflatoun Teachers! Our heart is overflowing with gratitude and awe with your eagerness and enthusiasm. This training was facilitated by Aleona Baloran Almazan, National Aflatoun Trainer and Hazel Ann Leñida, NATCCO Youth Program Associate.
