Though we did not win any of the $1,000 prizes on the #givingtuesday bonus day, we had a super successful day. 22 donors donated $1,755! We also earned $215 in matching donations through Global Giving's matching donor. We are on track to reach our goal of $6,000. Remember, that's enough for each of our partner schools in Kenya to hire a new teacher, improving the quality of education for more than 1,800 students at those schools.
We want to thank everyone who has thus far contributed to our campaign. Teachers play a vital role in educating youth, and we are confident we can reach our goal and ensure each of our partner schools can hire a new teacher. At the time of this report, we have raised $2,110. That's over a third of our goal and almost enough to hire 3 primary school teachers for a year! We have a ways to go, but we are so excited about our progress in this challenge.
Thanks again for the support!
**Remeber, to become a permanent member on the Global Giving site, we need to raise $5,000 from 40 donors. We are almost there, so continue to get the word out and help Hope 4 Africa in our mission of ensuring students in Kenya have access to quality education.
