Dear partners and friends,
Thank you for your continued support epecially with regard to supporting to give the gisft of education to a needy child.
We have had local volunteers coming in to support this aspect of the project through in-kind giving.
The biggest one being a group of 20 Medical Practitioners in Kenya, from Kitui Town supporting the school with food and writing material to 178 children.
They sent three reprsentatives to deliver grain worth $ 118 and pens and pencils enough for 178 students. It was also a time to encourage the students, motivating them to pursue learning despite the challenges they might be facing knowing that their effort would yield lasting fruit- a better life in future.
I would like to call upon partners who can mobilize in kind support in the same vein to make such support working with local partners. partners can mobilize in kind e-book donations to support our reading program, learning software and other resources like text books and sports/games equipment since the need is huge.
