Project Report | Oct 7, 2015
Our youths' summer

By Gergana Kicheva | Project manager

Dear friends,

Our youths had a great summer! Most of them went to the seaside or went camping. Meanwhile, we were working hard to find new mentors as there are new youths coming to Sofia.  Some of the new comers are still getting used to the bigger city and their new school. We’re buying books for some of the youths and plan to donate few computers to those who do not have one.

Before the summer break we took them to the theatre. At first, they were a little nervous thinking that this would be quite boring. They ended up loving it and asking "When is the next time we're coming here?". This week we’re going again to the theatre. We chose a funny play so that they can enjoy it at the most. This will be also useful as we’re gathering youths from different institutions and they will be able to make new friends.

Finally, they had a great time painting on an empty wall. Here are some pictures. They decided to paint a tiger that looks a little bit like a lion and symbolizes a super animal. There’s also a lovely bear with a big heart. Maybe this is the most beautiful wall in whole Sofia now!

Thank you for making all this possible! We wouldn’t be able without your help!

Regards,

Gergana Kicheva
