The Ministry of Secondary Education for the North West Region has officially endorsed our project and contacted the schools involved to urge their coorperation. The Cameroon Government recognizes the importance of our project to "alleviate poverty and enhance third-generation agriculture." Once we know how many gardens we can fund, we will start working with each school to build a resource team to coordinate project activities.
The schools are excited about participating. We're keeping our fingers crossed that although the time remaining on our campaign is short, we will still be able to meet our goal and fund all six gardens.
