Dear Sir/Madam,

We take this opportunity to send our sincere thanks for your great support in this task of literacy programs.  We are pleased to tell you that we are right in the second term which is scheduled to end at the beginning of August.  In the previous report we had planned to teach twenty women reading, writing and calculation.  Also providing training in business skills as well as their rights. Fortunately, this has not changed, and everything is going on well.

One interesting thing is to see one of the students has started to give subject introduction even before the teacher comes in.

One student MUKANKURANGA Janet was able to process a loan on her own from a local financial institution, after understanding well the subject on business skills.

Our remaining challenges:

-       teachers salaries are paid irregularly

-       monthly operating costs are increasing

-       our dancing troupe known as INZOVU (elephant) which helps us in fundraising has aging costumes and because they are insufficient that is to say at times we need hiring some new ones.

Our plan ahead is to:

a)    prepare for the examinations of second  term end

b)    elaboration of the third term program

c)     preparation for the study tours of the students in various business centers so that they become able to put the theory into practice

d)    mobilize the students to join cooperatives which will help them to combine  their efforts with others and have sustainable development

e)    continue the program of teaching as planned from the beginning

Don’t you think that educating a woman is educating the family?
In your country, between a man and a women who determines the number of children to be born?
Thank you for being a great supporter in our endeavors to educate a woman.

Sincerely yours,
