We have decided to close this fundraising effort as we have not been successful in raising sufficient funds to make the project go ahead.
Thank you to all of you who donated to this project. The good news is that ICA Cameroon, our partners in Cameroon, continue to work with the communities where this abuse is taking place and so any money that has been raised will be forwarded to them specifically to support this work. It will be used particularly to improve the quality of life for the young girls affected and to educate their parents, elders and other community members to stop these practices in future. So any donations will still have an impact.
