By Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah | Project Leader
Respected Donors,
Seasons Greetings!
It is indeed a pleasure for me to inform you that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is continuing with its mission of providing basic amenities of life to the Syrian Refugees living in Turkey. The team of CHCS from Pakistan visited refugee camps in various cities of Turkey and distributed relief goods among the refugees. Among the relief goods distributed this time, there was a special emphasis on providing assistance to the disabled. In this view, wheelchairs were distributed among more than 50 disabled. The refugees were delighted (as always) upon receiving relief goods and assistance.
Besides distributing relief goods and wheelchairs among the disabled, cash (in local currency) was also distributed among widows and orphans of Syrians living in refugee camps.
However, this project has not been able to attract donation of foreign donors as other projects of CHCS do. It is, therefore, requested to donate generously to this project as well enabling CHCS to minimize the suffering of Syrian refugees living in refugee camps in Turkey.
Regards,
Asif Mahmood Jah
