Dear friends of Sustainable Rural Life,
We are happy to inform you that in 2016 we will focus our efforts in three exiting projects:
1. Training and distribution of ecotecnologies in rural communities
We aim to continue our alliances with local organizations to train and deliver more clean cookstoves and hot pots to rural communities in the states of Baja California Sur, Tabasco, Quintana Roo, Coahuila and Querétaro.
2.Supporting local youth in Quintana Roo to kick-off their clean cookstove manufacturing workshop.
Because of the rate of success of the program in Quintana Roo, we want to scale up the support and help young local producers in the manufacturing and commercialization process of clean cookstoves in rural Maya communities in the Yucatán Peninsula.
3.Continue encouraging the development of a national norm for clean cookstoves.
We will continue encouraging the creation of standards for clean cookstoves that will provide guidelines for efficiency, emissions, durability and safety in Mexico. These standards are important to ensure that the clean cookstoves built by different organizations are clean, and reduce firewood consumption.
Please help us donating today to keep supporting more rural communities in Mexico to improve their life quality and protecting their environment!
Thank you for your support.
