Dear Sustainable Rural Life friends,
Thanks to your support, we have continued our program, helping improve the living conditions of rural communities in Mexico using environmental technologies. We continue building new subproject with each of our five allies in the field, and hosting numerous activities to distribute solar pots and fuel-efficient stoves.
Our certification process with our ally in the Yucatan Peninsula continues on, with the remaining step on the side of the international certification institution: Gold Standard. In a few months, more than 1,000 stoves distributed throughout three states in the southeast of the country will be able to participate in international voluntary carbon markets. We are very proud to be part of this innovative initiative, which complements perfectly the main objectives of our SRL program. On this occasion, we share with you a picture of some of the community children who today, have better living conditions thanks to your help.
Thank you for sharing our vision and helping so many communities have cleaner kitchens, healthier lives, lower environmental impact, and improved economies. We are sincerely grateful for your trust and confidence on the important positive impacts this program has. We hope you continue being part of it.
All the best,
Sustainable Rural Life Team
