Towards negotiotion between Ethiopia and Tigray

By Tsegay Wolde-Georgis | Project Leader

Dear Supporters and contributors,

Thank you very much for your continued support for the Tigrayan refugees from Tigray. The refugees run away from their homes due to the war. We are working very hard to raise the funds so that we can provide support to the refugees in the area of food security.

Recently, there have been movements towards a negotiation between the two parties. A group of western representatives including those from the USA, the EU, the UK, and Canada as well as other parties visited Mekelle on the 3rd of August to gather ideas and contribute towards settlement. The representatives have returned to Addis Ababa to share the information with the Ethiopian Federal leaders. We hope that this effort will lead to a permanent peace settlement in the region. That will affect the status of displaced people both internationally and dlocally.

Thank you for your fundraising efforts and support. We will continue to work hard and raise the money to support the Tigrayan refugees in Sudan, Please share the information with your friends, neighbors, and relatives.

Best regards to you and your loved ones. Pace.
