Since 2015, Online Learning Initiative has been dedicated to providing Guatemalan teachers with permanent access to cnbGuatemala.org — an online platform of the National Basic Curriculum. Thanks to the generous support in nearly 500 donations through GlobalGiving, we've sustained this vital resource for ten years.
In 2024, we reached a key milestone: the Guatemalan Ministry of Education (Mineduc) has officially agreed to take over the website and fully integrate it into their official online resources. After nearly a year of careful planning, technical work, and collaboration, the transfer is complete. The website has been duplicated and loaded onto Mineduc’s servers, set to go live in January 2026. To ensure uninterrupted access, we will be redirecting over 100,000 active users each month from our domain to the Ministry’s — a seamless transition designed with teachers and students in mind.
As we conclude this phase of the project, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who believed in us. Your support has proven that meaningful change comes not just from large investments, but from understanding people's needs and persistent dedication.

Desde 2015, Online Learning Initiative se ha dedicado a brindar a los docentes guatemaltecos acceso permanente a cnbGuatemala.org, una plataforma en línea del Currículo Básico Nacional. Gracias al generoso apoyo en casi 500 donaciones a través de GlobalGiving, hemos mantenido este recurso vital durante diez años.
En 2024, alcanzamos un hito clave: el Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala (Mineduc) acordó oficialmente hacerse cargo del sitio web e integrarlo completamente a sus recursos en línea oficiales. Tras casi un año de cuidadosa planificación, trabajo técnico y colaboración, la transferencia se ha completado. El sitio web se ha duplicado y cargado en los servidores del Mineduc, y estará disponible en enero de 2026. Para garantizar un acceso ininterrumpido, redirigiremos a más de 100,000 usuarios activos cada mes de nuestro dominio al del Ministerio, una transición fluida diseñada pensando en docentes y estudiantes.
