By Edgar Barillas | OLI Board President

Final Steps for Online Curriculum Transfer

We are in the final stretch of the transfer of the online curriculum to the Ministry of Education of Guatemala. Thanks to your generous contributions, it was possible to finance a consultancy to determine the functionality of the new home of the online curriculum on the servers of the Ministry of Education. The audit conducted in August 2025 established that the new website is in good condition to be launched in the coming months. In preparation for this event, the Ministry of Education will be organizing communication campaigns for its staff and the nearly 100,000 users who consult the CNB online every month.

The transfer of CNB online to the Ministry of Education of Guatemala will ensure its administration and maintenance by the institution responsible for the revision and updating of the national base curriculum. In this way, your contributions, dear donors, will continue to support education in Guatemala and other Latin American countries for many years to come.
