With 2015 upon us and the holiday season coming to a close, we wanted to reach out to you and say thank you for your generous support over the past several months. Thanks to the funds we raised through this project, we have been very busy!
During the fall, we expanded our Jump Trax program and invited children, teens and adults to participate in programs we ran in collaboration with a local trampoline park. It was a great way to get people up and moving in a safe, community-based program!
We also offered a toy making program before the holidays in collboration with another non-profit group, where we hosted an integrated arts and crafts day. Participants built their very own wooden toys, painted and decorated them alongside their family members. It was a wonderful day and with the spirit of the holidays, a heart warming event that promoted inclusion with the general public as well as the many families we serve here at Family Autism Center.
During the school vacation breaks, we offered activities like a train ride into Boston, a movie day event for the entire family, as well as general support to parents and caregivers who needed someone to talk to during the hectic times holidays and school vacations can sometimes bring.
We are humbled by your generosity, and promise to continue to offer the highest caliber of services for the families looking to us for support. Thank you so much for being a part of it, and Happy New Year!
