School Uniforms - turning a luxury into a given

Protect Us - A child's plea

Children in South Africa are desperate to learn and will often ask for a pair of school shoes ahead of a toy. Donors on the Global Giving website are making it possible for Noah to fulfill this wish!

We have been able to buy 100 school uniforms, 50 school supply kits and 50 sanitation packs for some of the neediest children in KwaZulu Natal – a predominantly rural province in South Africa. This means children can go to school with clean teeth, sharp pencils, shiny shoes and neatly pressed shirts. Maybe this is not a luxury to you and me, but it is a great achievement for the children we serve.

Through Global Giving Noah is able to teach children pride and dignity by providing a smart uniform and the supplies they need for school. On behalf of these children we express a huge thank you to everyone who dug deep into their pockets in these tough economic times. Know that your donation is an investment in the future leaders of our country.

You are joining our many supporters and volunteers as we deliver services to children in need. Noah is blessed to have a group of 829 dedicated and committed community volunteers that continue to provide our children with the compassion and love that they need. These wonderful individuals take time to carry out home visits and on many occasions walk many miles in order to ensure that children in need are registered with Noah and are receiving adequate care. They are inspired by our global partners such as you.

We at Noah would like to express our gratitude to all our donors for affording our children the rightful opportunity to a warm and deserving childhood and giving them a chance to a better tomorrow.
