Follow-Up of : COVID19 Has Affected Lives We Know

As a follow-up of the last report in May 2021, the country had hoped that the numbers of COVID 19 cases would decrease...HOWEVER, the opposite was true. 

Thailand saw a steady INCREASE in the number of infections, with numbers hitting a daily high of 20,000+ around mid August. Due to shortages in testings and vaccines, there were huge queues, with some people even lining up overnight just to get tested.

Where our members who are in the Children and Youth Programmes are concerned, many started to experience flu-like COVID 19 symptoms, but were unable to get to testing sites.

'Wai' (not his real name) is a boy who attends our program. The family suspected that the brothers may have caught the COVID 19 virus, but due to the long wait for testing, he and his brothers had to wait for their turn to be tested.
Meanwhile, our Foundation was in contact with a donor who had access to a known herbal remedy manufacturer of the local herb - "Fah-Talai-Jone" (Andrographis Paniculata) extract, which started to gain traction as a preventative and early remedy for COVID 19.
The family was quickly given the tablets and the update was that 'Wai' was tested positive(mild symptoms), his younger brother was negative, while his elder brother who had all COVID 19 sumptoms of fever, loss of taste and smell, but he took the herbal tablet and was tested as normal!

Encouraged by various testimonies of members who with the use of this herbal supplement, was either prevented from being infected with COVID 19, or had mild symptoms of the disease, our Foundation sent out as many as we could get our hands on, to our members or their families and those in high risk areas, all the way to the north-eastern provinces like Korat which was also a Red-Zone cluster region.
