Sports have always been a tool that unites people and break all barriers. The idea behind our project" Sports for Girls" is to promote sports as a tool to free them from their psychological barriers that enslaves them from dreaming ahead. Beside being a possible option to succeed in life and to maintain one's physical and mental health and wellbeing, Sports shall help them in learning the right aptitude towards life and problem solving.
Aaina has taken this initiative ahead in Bhanjanagar, Ganjam district of Odisha. We plan to build city level football teams of adoloscent girls and with the help of OLS and block administration in Bhanjanagar. We shall build a team that not only plays football but would also be our buddy network that shall assist other girls in distress and especially those who are PWD and need socialisation and support. We shall take this further and give these girls a "goal to set" because that is all that matters.
